Geneva has settled in nicely, after only a few hours, on her first day with us.
She loves her porch, likes to sack out on the tile floor in the living room, hates the crate, needs potty training, and is a complete love girl.
I’m glad she likes to sleep a lot at this age, since I only had 4 hours of sleep myself last night.
I realize now that I am going to have to structure her days, train her, and also — but only after 6 weeks — take her out a lot and expose her to unexpected, random situations, with lots of people, noises, kids, and other dogs.
All in all, my wife and I are delighted with Geneva — whom we are thinking of nicknaming “Cookie,” because she’s so smart!
