Back home at last for the next 3 months!
Can’t wait to watch on Verizon cable the start of my NY Jets‘ pre-season, which you cannot do in FL until you get a DISH.
This year’s Muslim Heritage Day festival at Kensico dam is on Aug 28th, a month of Sundays from now.
I also plan to walk around the city quite a bit, especially in the Little Syria area, maybe stop at St George Tavern in lower Manhattan — hence the Thursday Boots.
These appear to be well-made shoes; & you can’t beat the price, for what you’re getting.
It’s been a really long while since I’ve worn a pair of boots.
Won’t be walking around much, though, till the heat wave there abates. It’s due to hit NY tomorrow and last till Friday.
That’s okay, as the boots won’t be arriving till the end of the week, early next.
Frank Zappa once sang, “brown shoes don’t make it” — but I don’t care. 😉
